Our Great Taste Award-winning 2 x Fold Vanilla Extract uses Madagascan Bourbon vanilla beans, which we import directly from the Bourbon Island of Madagascar.

Made with 200g of vanilla beans per litre of extract, our 2 Fold Vanilla Extract delivers a rich, concentrated vanilla flavour. Favoured by breweries and distilleries, it adds depth, complexity, and character to a wide range of beverages and applications.

Crafted In-House for Exceptional Quality

Following extensive development and production trials, we began manufacturing our own extracts in 2018 to ensure complete control over quality, consistency, and flavour. The result is a superior vanilla extract — independently proven to contain up to 3 times higher levels of vanillin compared to leading comparable products on the market.

Our 2 Fold Vanilla Extract is produced at a 2 Fold strength, equivalent to approximately 200g of vanilla beans per litre of extract.

What Does “Fold” Mean?

The term " fold " refers to the quantity of vanilla beans used to produce the extract. The higher the Fold, the more concentrated and intense the vanilla flavour.

Product FAQs

  • In terms of flavour, cutting out the vanilla extract is like making a Jam sandwich without the jam, or a chocolate cake without any chocolate in it…you just wouldn’t do it. Vanilla enhances the flavour of all of your creations.
  • Because it comes from an organism, it can be classed as a natural flavouring.
  • Vanilla extract is a fragrant, amber coloured liquid made by macerating vanilla beans in ethanol (minimum 35%), water and sugar.

How long will it take for me to receive my order?

We always do our best to dispatch orders on the same working day when placed before 1:00pm.

  • FedEx: Orders placed before 1:00pm are usually delivered on the next working day.
  • Royal Mail Tracked 24: Aims to deliver within 1–2 working days.

Please note that Royal Mail delivery times are targets rather than guarantees, and parcels can occasionally take a little longer to arrive. Delivery times may also be affected by Bank Holidays.
